Week 13 - Showcase/ KPI Update

During week 13, we had our studio showcase.

It was a very tiring day for me that day because I was not able to sleep the night before because I composited our finalized scenes, and the reason I did it only the night before is because the scenes that were designated to my groupmates were only given to me the night before the showcase. Even though I pulled through the night and was able to finish our final short animated film.

The showcase went well, we received a lot of feedbacks and when the people from the industry arrived they also visited us and I was even offered an internship for on of them.

After the showcase, we had our award ceremony. We were announced as the winners for best in studio project, I was in shock and just in awe, because all of my hard work and dedication payed off at the end.

This trimester was truly an eye opener for me, I learned so much in such little time.

I also updated my KPI:

My strong work ethics still needs improvement, because I feel like I haven't worked as hard as I have, I would have presented a lot better if I did.

My positive attitude is still in successful because even though we were having a lot of problems during the trimester I still kept a positive attitude with my groupmates and everyone around me.

My effective communication skills is in successful now because I've started updating my team more ever since Amit told me to improve this KPI.

My Time Management Abilities are still poor and I still really need to work on my time management. I also still need to work on my problem solving skills because there was this one time where I had a problem with the discoloration of the leg and I researched and stressed about it for 2 hours until I remembered one of Amit's classes and realized it was just a reflection from the VRay plane.

My acting as a team player is in successful, because I've done some tasks that Nat is suppose to be in charge of.

My self confidence still needs a room of improvement because there was this one scene in the showcase where Rashed had to talk to me outside for me to just be able to step up to one of my teammate who is asking to redo the whole composition with such little time left.

The ability to learn and accept from criticism is still successful because there was this one instance in the showcase where I Amit gave bad feedback for what happened to the final composition of our short film and I didn't take it the wrong way and sat back down and fixed what he wanted in the next hour.

Flexibility/ Adaptabiity is still successful for me because I was able to do a lot of things that I didn't even know about just to improve our project.

Working well underpressure is still in room for improvement because I need to keep calm when I'm under pressure, I still get so nervous and easily get worried, I still need to work on that.
