Week 6

During this week I was not able to attend my classes because I attended my Aunt's wedding with my family in Belgium. But during our trip I still worked while we were in the hotel.

I continued modeling the leg and followed how Amit showed me a can create the leg with my last consultation with him. I followed his advice about following the design flow from the character in the game Crisis. So I did some research on the nano suit from crisis 2.

I was able to learn a lot on how the nano suit was created and how it works with the character, I mostly achieved my research from FANDOM. The author talked about the previous nano suits and it's flaws and compared it with the new design, He also talked about the history of the suit and what it is capable of.

I was also able to study how the Nanosuit was modeled from the website yobi3D, luckily the website also provided a 3D model o the suit, and I was able to look at the 3D model of the suit on hand.

This preview of the model really gave me a lot of inspiration with the design flow of the leg model that I'm currently working on. After researching the armor from Crysis, I continued my attempt on modeling the leg.

I first modeled the armor plates with plane.

Then I conformed the armor plates to the base mesh like the wat Amit taught me. I also created the ball joints for the knee and foot.

I also created the cylinders for the Joint rotation of the leg, I researched online how these things look like and took inspiration from the images I saw and I was able to model this:

By the end of the week I was able to complete the armor plates for the leg:

I really like well it turned out, the advice Amit gave me helped me out a lot through out the process of modeling the armor plates. I will be showing this to him by next week when I return to Dubai.
