We had a workshop about location scouting this week, I was not able to attend because I misunderstood about the timing for the workshop, I felt really bad about this irresponsibility of mine and so I emailed Ms, Reshel about this matter:

She gave me advice to ask Sir Amit about the documents she went over that day because she sent them to him.
I also asked my fellow colleagues on what they learned that day from Ms Reshel, regarding location scouting, what the rules are here in Dubai and outside UAE with renting a location, and the exercise you have given them during the workshop.
During our monday class Amit taught us about perspective match and how we will be using it for our scenes when we match our 3D model to our scenes he gave use an exercise as well in matching the viewport in the scene I had a hard time at first but Amit helped me out on matching the viewport axis and where they should be placed. He also taught us how to create a video reference in 3Ds Max for animating.
I aslo consulted Amit about the new design for the leg, and he approved of it he also mentioned he like the color way I chose for the design, he just wanted me to add pipe works and bolts in the new design.
Here is the finalized design concept for the leg:

Progress Presentation
We also had a progress presentation on Wednesday, I also created the slides for the progress check. After our presentation we got some great feedback from our instructors, they really like the design for the leg and the feet, and also mentioned that the last scene for the animatic looks good as well and is more manageable to work on for matte painting.
I started modelling the base mesh for the leg this week here is a screenshot of it:

I also tried modeling the armor plates for the leg model, but I had a hard time creating the panel linings. I consulted Amit by the end of our class on Wednesday and he gave me two suggestions on how to create the armor platings, the 1st one is to build up the leg model in zbrush and create the panel linings from there and the 2nd way he showed me he introduced this technique called conform where I can wrap the plane on the model and move it out of the mesh for it to be the armor plating. I went with his 2nd suggestion because I found this more suitable for my current knowledge with 3Ds max.
We also checked out the location for our shoot, Natasha's father provided the location for us from a friend of his, we went to the location on tuesday, here are photos of the location:
It perfectly fits our bunker concept the only problem is that our team lead found it a bit big for the spacing so she asked her dad to create a partition for it.
