During this week I started texturing the leg, at first I started unwrapping the leg.

I was able to unwrap half of the leg, at first I was planning to do the view port canvas texturing method, but then after doing more research on way with texturing I found a video in YouTube teaching me how to texture using VRay material. I was able to create my VRay textures from watching the tutorial videos of Muhammed Ali Tohumcu, his tutorials were really easy to follow on, here is one of his videos that I followed which was published on February 12, 2017 :

I really enjoyed watching his tutorials and was able to create the textures I wanted to for the leg model, He even had a tutorial that taught me how to create a glow texture for my support joint cylinders.

After learning VRay Texture, here are the textures I did for the leg:

I am really proud of these textures and I'm really glad how they turned out, after showing them to Amit, he approved of it right away and did not have any problems with the result, he only wants me to add scratch textures on it that's all.

I created the clean plates and also did the perspective matches for scenes 4 and 5 with the VFX shot for the leg and also did the reference video to ready the leg for animating.

Here are the clean plates that I did for scenes 04 and 05:

Helgi already taught us on how to do clean plates for our scenes in one of our classes with him, but I still wanted to learn more about how you can replace a green screen in a footage and to further enhance my knowledge in after effects with step by step processes and so I researched on how to do it just to be sure I would not have any mistakes. I checked out YouTube videos on how to do advanced key lighting. This is the video that I watched:

This video is from VideoFort Don it was published on March 9, 2013.

During this tutorial, VideoFort Don demonstrates how to use advanced keying techniques that are applied on green screen footage. This tutorial really helped me a lot in canceling out the green screen from my scenes, I was to successfully remove the green screen from the footage that we shot. I learned how to adjust the matte settings and experiment with the black and white values. I also learned about luma matter to get rid of the noise in the footage, I also learned how to use Hue and Saturation to remove any green leftovers in the footage. This was a very helpful and a great learning experience to me, and to further enhance my knowledge with after effects.

I also did the perspective matches for scenes 4 and 5, I was able to learn this technique from one of our lessons with Amit during this trimester, It is really a great technique seeing how you are able to do this with your own scenes :

and here are the video reference assembly and camera placement for scenes 4 and 5:
