Week 10 - Animating/ Camera Placing / Product Graphic / Texture Refinement

Since our GD never got back to me, I just did the graphic of the bar myself since I already knew how to because of when Amit taught me about branding during my consultation with him in our KPI meeting. I used Photoshop for the making the design of the bar.

I first created the logo for the bar:

Then I built of from this after, and here is what I was able to create for the graphic of the bar

I also added in the nutritional facts for chocolate.

I refined the textures of the suit and the life support and control panel as well.

I baked the textures for all the textures and added extra details on the life support. I also changed on the helmet.

I also finished animating and setting up the cameras this week, the scenes that I got are the flag scene and the pose scene.

I did a reference video for the pose scene as well:

For the flag placing animation, I researched on how flags are placed on the moon, every clip i see are the Astronauts having less movement, since our commercial is a parody, I want to give the flag placement more exaggeration and a feeling of triumph for the character, so I added more movements on how the flag is placed.

For the research I did this video is the best example that I saw of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin planting the flag on the moon:
