This week, we learned a new software, It is called V-Ray, and it is such an amazing software. Amit taught us all the basics through out the whole week on how to install V-Ray and how to use it, how V-ray Material, V-Ray Reflection & Refraction, V-Ray Lighting, and V-Ray Cameras work. I'm so glad Amit decided and suggested to the faculty to use V-ray this trimester because it is mainly used in the Industry of Animators, and this is such a big step for us students as well.
I started modeling the boots and gloves of the Astronaut this week as well, after thorough research with how Neil Armstrong's Apollo 11 Astronaut suit looked like, I was able to model the silhouette of the Gloves and the Boots somehow according to the actual Apollo 11 clothing.

On our studio class yesterday, I consulted Amit regarding the silhouette model I did for the Boots and Gloves, He told me that my topology is all over the place, and I knew that because I know to myself that I am still weak when it comes to Topology. He also told me the proportions for the Gloves is wrong as well and that it is flat, he then continued on showing a video he showed us 2 weeks ago with regarding topology of models, reminding me how they should be done.
After my consultation with Amit, I talked to Natasha since she is good with re topology and I knew I did not have time to fully study about topology by this time because I still have a lot of work ahead of me in the coming weeks. She agreed to helping me in fixing the topology.
Before the class ended I went back to Amit and consulted him once again about my personal project, and told him that I am planning to model either Kratos (From God of War) or Dante (From Devil May Cry). Amit told me that I should not focus on these advanced models yet, and that I should start by learning the basic proportions and topology of the Human body, he showed me the Zbrush sculpt of a male body that he was working on at the moment and showed me how it should be modeled, he then continued to give me advice on what I should do for my personal project.
He told me to borrow a book from the library, It is called " Human Anatomy for Artist By Eliot Goldfinger" he advised me to use this book to study proportions of the human body and it's parts.
After class I went and borrowed the book right away from the library:

During the weekend after reading a bit of Goldfinger's book and researching the web as well, I started refining the Gloves and Boots in ZBrush, and this is the outcome for the refinement of the proportions I did.

and here are the references that I used through my research with the Astronauts' gear.

After doing these refinements, I sent them to Natasha for re topology, because I am still weak with re topology and if I try and learn more about it now, It will take a lot of time before I successfully do the right topology. Since she is good with topology, she agreed on taking on the task.
