During our classes this week, Amit started teaching us how Post Production should be done the right way, he gave us insights in modeling, like for example when you are modeling you should be "Precise on detail". He also taught us that when we start modeling, in order to get the right scale, always start with human height reference.

He taught us that the right scale for a human is:

Height - 1.83 meters Width - 0.5 meters Length - 0.35 meters

We were also taught about surroundings when modeling, like when you are modeling an interior walls should start by 12 meters. Amit also mentioned that when we are modeling we should always use support edges and also always be use the metric system (meters).

During our class on Tuesday we were taught how to do product shots using an application called Key Shot, he taught us about the basics and how we can use Key Shot to our advantage. By the end of our class with the tutorial about Key Shot, Amit gave us a Q and A session with him, Since I recently just started studying ZBrush and was planning to model the Astronaut with it this trimester, I was curious to how you import a Z Brush model into 3Ds Max. I asked Amit how and he told me that it was just a one click of a button in 3ds max that you can get if you download the plugin, it is called GoZ.

On our Wednesday class, Amit gave us a session where we would request how to model an object concerning our commercial and gave us a live modeling session of those requests. Since I was in charge of the Astronaut model, I asked Amit how to model an Astronaut Helmet, and he showed me and the class how it can be done.

Yesterday I did an Astronaut Proxy that our team lead asked us to do:

I followed the right scale as to what I have learned with one of Amit's classes this week.
