This week Bing took over the classes to help us through our Pre Production and preparation for our Pitch Presentation by the end of the week. The week started of us having a meeting last Sunday Feb/11/2017, in university, I created our google drive account for us to upload our works for Pre- Production, Production & Post Production stages, and I also started working on the slides for our presentation.

I also took 4 short videos of us working for our BTS:

I consulted Bing with the storyboards that I made so far and he told me that he did not want the storyboard to be that pretty, he just needed it rough and in grayscale if possible. After seeing Nat's character concept he decided to team me up with Nat to work on our storyboard, the following day me and Nat sat down and worked on the storyboard.

The following day we showed Bing the storyboard that we finished and he told us that we needed two more action scenes, so we had a group meeting after our consultation with Bing and added the two action shots that he wanted. During the class I started working on the animatic with Murtaza as well, I guided him on how the shots will look like and I positioned the cameras and the objects in the animatic's surrounding as well. By the end of the day I finished doing the story board with Nat and got it approved with Bing, then continued working on the animatic with Murtaza. I decided to stay in university until 9 pm and asked Murtaza to do so as well because we needed to work on the animatic as soon as possible because we had 2 days left before the pitch presentation. We both stayed in uni until 9 pm, but it still was not enough for us to complete the animatic.

I then decided to head to Murtaza's place and continue working on the animatic, he agreed with my decision. We worked all night on the animatic and also did some research on how to and astronaut moves in the moon.at the same time I was also working on our presentation. By the end of the night we were able to finish the animatic and I went home around 4am.

Here is the animatic that we finished:

The next day we consulted Bing with the animatic and he wanted some shots changed and then we continued on working on the audio for the animatic. I sat down with Nat and recorded voice overs for our character, by the end of our class we were able to finish our animatic.

Once I got home that night I continued on finalizing our presentation slides and got them done that night.

The next day we had our pitch presentation. Our presentation went well but we had we had a lot of comments from our professors that we needed to fix a lot of things from our story board to our animatic.

After the presentations we consulted Amit and he gave us advice on how the story of our commercial can be improved and what we needed to change like with the scenes and the camera angles had to be change, and that since our them is a comedy, we should just do the exact Apollo 11 Lunar landing and make a parody out of it. After the consultation we had a short group meeting and talked about the story board from scratch, after deciding how the story will go we then continued on making reference shots for the story board.

During the weekend I went to Murtaza again and we both did the animatic all over again and applied the advice Amit has given us into the animatic, I also did the Model Sheet for our character during this weekend.

Here is the revised animatic that we did:
